San Diego Municipal Code Chapter 13: Zones (8-2014) Article 2: Overlay Zones Division 10: Transit Area Overlay Zone (Added 12-9-1997 by O-18451 N.S.; effective 1-1-2000.) §132.1001 Purpose of the Transit Area Overlay Zone The purpose of the Transit Area Overlay Zone is to provide supplemental parking regulations for areas receiving a high level of transit service. The intent of this overlay zone is to identify areas with reduced parking demand and to lower off-street parking requirements accordingly. (Added 12-9-1997 by O-18451 N.S.; effective 1-1-2000) §132.1002 Where the Transit Area Overlay Zone Applies (a) This overlay zone applies to property shown on Map No. C-921, filed in the office of the City Clerk as Document No. OO-19287-2. These areas are shown generally on Diagram 132-10A. (b) Table 132-10A shows the sections that contain the supplemental regulations for specific types of development proposals in this overlay zone.
