Development Services Substantial Conformance Review 500 per plan View all plan review statistics The goal of Substantial Conformance Review (SCR) is to determine if the proposed project is consistent and in conformance with a previously approved project. Substantial Conformance Review – Process 1 Process 1 (deemed based on a standard conformance determination based on submitted plans and documents) is an expedited service provided by the Development Services Department. It is a limited review process of a project for conformance with the previously recorded map or project conditions. Generally, this process is offered on plans submitted to provide the Development Services Department. In those instances where the project does not conform with previously recorded condition or map, or other special requests, such as a building scaling or Facade Improvement Process, is presented. Instead of an SCR, compliance may be noted as indicated when project changes are of a complex permitting nature and require a more detailed analysis of the project and the proposed change(s) in order to determine consistency and conformance with the previously recorded plan(s).
In addition, we may request clarifications before final determination as a result of non-compliance or as if the records cannot be found in the file. Substantial Conformance Review – Process 2 Process 2 (defined process) request a subsequent conformance review to proceed through an initial approval process (Process 1). Fees The following fees are required at the time of project submittal or as necessary: 1. Annual Plan Maintenance Fee This fee is for maintaining a plan filed under an approved conformance review project. The Detailed Plan Maintenance Fee provides information on the maintenance of the City's General Plan and is required as noted in the Planning Department. A detailed Plan Maintenance Fee is not required if no changes occur during construction, or the subsequent year's are not submitted. 2. Mapping Fee
This fee is required if additional plan sheets, drawings, maps or other special applied documents are utilized for project review. Shipping Fee The fee for the Project Design Cost Fee $ 1 / 34 This fee is charged in addition to any for plan processing, reviewing documents, permit recalculation, and obtaining the project file after final clearing or material completion. 3. Individual Conformance Review – First Fee This fee is for the Initial Individual conformance review and cover meeting, individual review examining local trends, materials and site reviews.
